May 29, 2020 COVID-19 Update
The Zambian government has permitted the opening of schools for examination grades only in June to avoid an education crisis in Zambia. Examination grades in Zambia are the 7th, 9th, and 12th grades, which for BCA currently includes the 7th and 9th grades at our southern campus.
Lord willing, at the beginning of June, our 7th and 9th grades will return to school for instruction at our southern campus. No exact timeline has been given for when the other grades will be allowed to return to school, but we are hopeful that they will also be allowed to return in the next couple of months.
Our team in Zambia is doing everything they can in order to safely reopen our schools. In compliance with Zambia’s Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education, our school buildings were fumigated and cleaned this week in order to prepare for the arrival of the students.
