2021 School Year in Full Swing

Even though the 2021 school year has been off to a slow start in Zambia, due to some delays caused by the Covid-19 restrictions, we are glad to say that all our classes are now in full swing at our 2 primary schools and secondary school.

We are also praising God for his continued mercy to our students in their academic performance. Despite missing school in 2020, due to the closures because of Covid-19, we are happy to report the following test results for our secondary school students (these exams are required for all students in Zambia):

  • 100% of the Seventh Grade passed National exams and began Secondary School.
  • 85% of the Ninth Grade passed National exams and proceeded to the 10th grade.

The 9th grade students that did not fully pass the National exams will be given a chance to work further in the subjects not passed and rewrite the exams in order to proceed to the 10th grade. Please continue to pray for their academic progress this year.

Prayer Request:

As the Zambian government is making further health guidelines in Zambia due to the spread of Covid-19, we are facing the need to upgrade our water well at our campus in northern Zambia. Additionally, we need to make improvements to our kitchen spaces at both school locations.
As we are awaiting specific guidelines, please pray that the Zambian authorities are patient with us as we work to comply with their regulations. Please also pray that the Lord provides the necessary funds in order to comply with these guidelines.
